Since Frozen hit theaters, the Disney film has enchanted millions of children. The story of the unlikely sisters Elsa and Anna, accompanied by the funny snowman Olaf, is a modern fairy tale about love, courage and self-discovery. A Frozen coloring page is the best way for little fans to bring the magic of Arendelle into their own children’s room and color the icy adventures themselves.
When coloring these coloring pages, children can immerse themselves in a glittering winter world. Whether Elsa’s sparkling ice palace, Anna’s courageous journey through the snow or Sven and Kristoff at work – the motifs are full of details and emotions. Playing with cool colors is particularly exciting: How many tones of blue, turquoise and white are there? Here children can experiment and learn how to make ice and snow appear alive on paper.

Instructions for Frozen coloring pages
In order for the masterpiece to be successful, the little artists should be well equipped. Colored pencils in light blue, turquoise and silver are essential for Elsa. Anna, on the other hand, often wears warmer colors such as magenta, dark blue and black. And for Olaf all you really need is a black pen for the buttons and an orange one for the carrot nose!
For younger children, simple portraits of Olaf or Sven are suitable because they have large areas and clear lines. Older children love the challenge of Elsa’s detailed dresses with all the snowflake patterns or scenes of magic being cast. A tip for parents: have some glitter or glitter glue ready. A Frozen coloring page without a bit of sparkle is only half as nice!

6 creative ideas with Frozen coloring pages
Glitter Magic This is the perfect theme for glitter! After coloring, children can decorate Elsa’s dress or the snowflakes in the background with glitter glue or loose sequins. This makes the picture sparkle like real ice.
Building Olaf (on paper) Print out Olaf in individual parts (head, body balls, branches). The children can color the pieces, cut them out and then glue them back together on a piece of blue paper – “Do you want to build a snowman?” works even without snow!
Icy window pictures Color in snowflakes or Elsa’s ice crystals. Then lightly coat the back of the paper with oil. When you hang the pictures on the window, the light shines through and transforms the room into an ice palace.
Make crowns Find a template of Elsa’s coronation tiara. Print this out on sturdy paper. After coloring it in (don’t forget the gold and turquoise!), it can be cut out and attached to the head with an elastic band. This makes every child feel like an ice queen.
Winter garland Cut out lots of small painted motifs (stars, snowflakes, little Olafs) and thread them onto a silver cord or gift ribbon. This garland fits perfectly into the winter time.
Invitation cards for the Frozen party A self-colored picture of Anna and Elsa is the most beautiful invitation for a child’s birthday. Write the text on the back or stick the image on a folded card.
Paint by numbers with Frozen
The world of Frozen consists of many subtle color nuances. “Paint by Numbers” helps children distinguish between the correct tones (e.g. ice blue vs. sky blue). It’s a great exercise for concentration and rewards patience with a beautiful, professional-looking image of your favorite heroes.
