The sea is calling! Disney’s Moana (original Moana) tells the inspiring story of a courageous young woman who sails across the ocean to save her people. With breathtaking landscapes, stirring songs and unforgettable characters like the demigod Maui and the crazy rooster Heihei, this film is a feast for the senses. A Moana coloring page is the perfect opportunity to relive this Polynesian adventure at home and put the colors of the South Seas on paper.
When coloring the coloring pages, children immerse themselves in a world full of turquoise waves, green islands and mystical symbols. Whether Moana stands proudly on her boat, Maui swings his magic hook or the little pig Pua looks cute – the motifs sparkle with life. Children can learn how many shades of blue the sea has and how to create the bright patterns of Polynesian culture.

Instructions for Moana coloring pages
The world of Moana is warm and sunny. To capture this mood, the little artists need lots of warm colors: orange and red for the clothes, lush green for the plants and of course lots of blue for the ocean. Shades of brown for the traditional boats and Maui tattoos are also important.
For the youngest explorers, simple images of Pua or Heihei are suitable, as these animals have fun and clear shapes. Older children love the challenge of coloring in Maui’s detailed tattoos or matching the intricate pattern on Moana’s dress. A special tip: Use watercolors for the background to make the sea appear flowing and lively – this fits perfectly with the water theme!

6 creative ideas with Moana coloring pages
Making the Heart of Te Fiti Draw a picture of Moana holding the heart. Then get a smooth, round stone (or crumple up green paper) and paint a green spiral on it. This gives the child their own “Heart of Te Fiti” to play with.
Glitter Ocean The sea in “Moana” sparkles and lives. Use blue glitter glue to make the waves on the coloring pages sparkle. The magical elements like Maui’s hooks also look great with a little glitter.
Kakamora Masks Print out the faces of the Coconut Pirates (Kakamora). Children can color these wildly and colorfully, cut them out and stick them on cardboard. These are fun masks for wild adventures in the garden.
South Sea flower wreath Moana often wears flowers in her hair. Have the children color and cut out lots of tropical flowers. These can then be stuck onto a strip of paper to act as a headband. The Polynesian look is ready!
Design Your Own Tattoo Maui is proud of its tattoos that tell its story. Give the children a template of an arm or torso and have them draw their own symbols on it. What is their story
Sailboat in 3D look Color Moana’s boat. Cut it out and glue a shish kebab stick onto it as a mast (using a paper sail). If you bend the boat a little at the bottom, it can stand on the table.
Paint by numbers with Moana
The tropical landscape offers many color nuances. Paint by Numbers helps distinguish the deep blue of the sea from the light turquoise of the lagoon or find the right skin color for the characters. This ensures a result that looks like it came straight from the movie.
