Instructions for Star Wars coloring pages
In thestar Wars-Universe colors often have a meaning. Lightsabers are the best example here: the good guys (Jedi) usually use blue or green, while the bad guys (Sith) almost always have red blades. Purple or yellow are rare but cool exceptions! So be sure to have these colors ready.
Simple motifs such as the spherical droid BB-8 or the wise master Yoda are suitable for younger children because they have clear shapes. Older fans love detailed spaceships like thisMillennium Falconsor complex fight scenes. A tip for the space look: Since the background is often black, children can either work a lot with a black pen or – even easier – cut out the motif and stick it onto black construction paper.

6 creative ideas with Star Wars coloring pages
Make lightsabers Paint a lightsaber motif (or just the hilt). Stick it on an empty paper towel. You can glue the “blade” part to the roll using colorful construction paper or crepe paper. Your own laser sword is ready for the duel in the living room.
Space Window Prints Print out spaceships like X-Wings or TIE Fighters. After coloring they are cut out. Stick these on the window. When it’s dark outside, it looks like they’re flying through real space.
Masks of the Dark Side The face of Darth Vader or a stormtrooper makes an excellent mask. Simply print it out large, color it in, cut out eye holes and attach an elastic band. “I am your father!” sounds much more real under the paper mask.
Building Droid Friends Take a picture of R2-D2 or BB-8. Cut out the individual parts (head, body, legs) and glue them back together with pattern clips. This makes the droid mobile and can “walk” or “roll”.
Galactic invitation cards Are you planning a Star Wars party? A painted Yoda with the speech bubble “You must come!” is the funniest and coolest invitation for all friends.
Planet Mobile Combine the characters’ coloring pages with planets you’ve painted yourself (like the desert planet Tatooine or the Death Star). Hang everything on strings to create your own little solar system in the room.
Paint by numbers with Star Wars
Lots of characters instar Warshave very technical details (like the buttons on Vader’s chest plate). “Painting by numbers” helps you keep track and assign the colors correctly. This creates an image that looks deceptively similar to the original film.
